Keeping everything in order to stay organized is much more difficult than when we started. This is true if we do not have habits or routines that can keep us organized. So, because one of my resolutions this year is to get organized means I have to familiarize myself with some simple routines, which will make my resolution successful.
Nothing fancy, just simple things that should be done every day or once a week to ensure that my space stays clean, neat and organized. When you free up time to do what you want to do.
Organized Day kick off
You will be amazed at the amount of time you'll free up with just doing this, a tiny little day-to-day tasks. Let's go with rooms
1. Kitchen
- Wipe the table clean after i finish the cook.
- Return the food - cereals, sugar, coffee, spices, flour, rice and so on, back to where they belong.
- Clean the stove.
- Rinse dirty dishes and put in the dishwasher or stack neatly in the sink.
- Replace dirty kitchen dusters and dishcloths with fresh ones.
2. Bedroom
- Make my bed. Easiest if you do it immediately after you or your child wake up.
- Put soiled or dirty clothes directly into the laundry basket instead of throwing them to the chair or the floor.
- Keep your desk free of clutter as possible. Alarm clock, books and lamps are all mine have.
- Set the items on your dresser, corralling into smaller bowls and jars.
3. Eating and Living Room
- Remove the plates and dishes from the table as soon as you finish eating.
- Wipe the table clean.
- Remove all empty cups, books, papers from the table when you see them.
- Organize and arrange neatly magazine.
- Cleaning the coffee table clutter - documents, files, books and other things that are not supposed to be there.
- Clean as you go to work best to keep both areas tidy.
- Get rid of kiddie toys and other items that may be scattered around as part of your nightly routine.
4. Bathroom
- Wipe the floor dry after a bath, always.
- Replace towels or a damp smell (especially after a bath) with a fresh, clean.
- Wipe clean the mirror and finally drowned the day.
- Most of these tasks can be performed while you move around the house from one room to another. In fact, once you get into the habit, you will not even realize that you are really cleaning and organizing.
Organizing Weekly Routines
While organizing the weekly tasks a little more intense than your everyday, if you've done organizing and cleaning everyday, you will be able to wrap up the former in a heartbeat. Let's go room-by-room, here, too.
1. Kitchen
- Go through your kitchen supplies.
- Set up a spice rack and jars of food. Add new labels or delete old ones.
- Fill out items that have been completed or will get better.
- Wash dirty kitchen dusters and dishcloths. Dry and fold them neatly, before saving. I keep mine in two separate cloth bag hanging on the nail.
2. Bedroom
- Organize dresser drawer, especially if, like me, you hold a comb, hair accessories, earrings, and makeup needs daily.
- Change the sheets. Air out blankets and carpets.
- Wipe clean the windows and doors.
- If you have a bookcase or cabinet DVD in the bedroom, set up once a week. It will look neater and make track a much-loved book is easy and fast.
3. Dining Room and Living Room
- Change of linen - table, pillows, slipcovers or mattress cover.
- Organize your china cabinet, if you have one in the dining room.
- Also, a good time to organize your music and video collections. Sort out and put back in the covers of CDs and DVDs right.
- Set the item at the top of the fridge and mail holder. I have a few basket that holds my wallets, mobile phones and some importance, such as torches, bottle of hand sanitizer and a bowl of change. Remove items that are no longer needed, such as prescription drugs, or who was not there.
4. Bathroom
- Clean and organize the medicine cabinet and / or toiletry shelf.
- Replenish supplies of liquid soap, shampoo, and other bathroom needs.
- Wash the bath mat, shower curtain and shower cubicle clean or remove the bathtub.
Simple, easy-to-do, and can be done. You will be surprised at how quickly most of these tasks and how effectively to cut the clutter and keep things organized around the house. Try it for a week to see the difference.
